All the things I get asked in a DM every week, answered here so you don't have to. Booking itself happens on Instagram — that way every enquiry, date and deposit lives in one place.
Step one
Send these and I can answer properly first time, instead of going back and forth. There's no fixed price list, because what you pay depends on where you are and how far I'm coming.
The detail
There's no set price list. As a mobile stylist, my pricing depends on your location and travel time, so I'll quote you directly when you message.
Payment is by bank transfer or cash, whichever is easier for you, and is settled at the end of every appointment.
I arrive with my full kit — professional products, brushes, irons and pins — so there's nothing for you to buy or borrow. All you need to do is wash your hair and pick a comfortable spot.
Roughly an hour per person for most styles. If there are several of you, I'll work out a running order and a start time when you book.
A 20% deposit secures your date. It's refundable as long as you cancel more than 48 hours before your appointment.
Brighton & Hove and Maidstone, plus the surrounding towns across Sussex and Kent. Travel is judged at the time — anything beyond roughly 20 to 30 minutes away is chargeable. If you're further afield I'd still love to hear from you; I'm always happy to see what works.
Mondays, Friday afternoons and throughout the weekend. My availability moves week to week as I split my time between Kent and Brighton — message me and I'll tell you when I'm next in your area.
Group bookings of three or more get 10% off, and getting everyone ready in one house is my favourite kind of morning. Bridal trials are available. Wedding and prom dates go quickly, so book as far in advance as you can.
Before I arrive
None of this is me being fussy — it's the difference between a set that drops by nine o'clock and one that's still there when you get home.
Please wash your hair before I arrive and keep it damp — putting it up in a clip helps keep it wet. I recommend shampooing twice to make sure it's thoroughly clean. If you regularly use oils, styling products or dry shampoo, a clarifying shampoo is a great option to remove any build-up and create the perfect base for a long-lasting blowdry.
That includes oils, serums, mousse, leave-in conditioner or dry shampoo. I bring all of my favourite professional products with me to prep and protect your hair, so you get the best possible result.
If you wear hair extensions, please say so when you book your appointment. It lets me set aside enough time and bring everything I need to give you the best possible results.
You get to choose where you'd like to be styled. Simply pick a comfortable spot with enough room, ideally near a plug socket — I can bring an extension lead if needed.
